I happened to just mention in another thread that I find it easiest to use the "compress for CD" feature in iMovie, then use the compress file on Youtube.

Here is an example of the quality I get out of it Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GfhjyAPuTjU)

Pretty good imo.
