This is kind of a horrible list. Seems as if the "Best if 2007" should come out at the end of the year, and perhaps Leopard would have made an appearance. Also, no PS3 and no Joost? What's up with that?

I can list a hundred reasons why the PS3 isnt there... Mainly tho, because it's not one of the top products of 2007. Joost however I can't understand.

now if i can just get ahold of an iPhone then it would be #1 for me.

You really would think from a PC site there would be no Apple gear on the list and way more Microsoft stuff.... And I am aware Apple started the "PC" thing...

Still my favourite part was
#9 Apple Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger" (operating system)
Quick: Name a good Vista feature that goes beyond what's in Tiger. Yeah, we can't either.

Well, there's no reason why the PS3 should be on that list.
Expensive, with no games and uncertain future. The Wii is far better.

You'd think they could wait at least half way through the year to start this silliness...

I think I heard somewhere that the head of PCWorld originally came over from MacWorld magazine...

I'm pleased to see that my trusty Dell 2407WFP monitor came in at a healthy #29 :)

It is indeed a great monitor. It puts my iBook screen to shame...

I'm surprised Toshiba's HD-XA2 HD DVD player didn't make the list!

...that was released two years ago.

it's a list of the best tech products available. it didn't need to be introduced in 2007. the fact that tiger is two years old and is on this list is a testament to how good tiger really is. like the article said, there isn't anything vista offers that really outshines anything tiger's already done.

Joost however I can't understand.

Not well known enough. If you ask any random person on the street if they know what Joost is, they probably won't know. Ask them what an iPhone is, most of them will know (at least they'll heard about it before))

What's wrong with that picture? I'll give you a clue, it's not not Tiger.

Oh, you want the top 100 products of 2007 that were first released in 2007? Mmmm, does that mean I have to take the light bulb and the gasoline engine out also? I really can hardly live without those. I hope I can at least keep air conditioning on the list. I live in Florida, for god's sake.

I agree "best of" articles should come at the end of a year, magazines should come out for that month should come out then i.e. May 2007 should come out around the 1st May, not around 1st April! best of cds should come out in Dec unless the title says best of summer 2007 then it should come out around september time. etc etc.
