Currently, I've got a Linksys BEFW11S4 802.11b router, with a 17" Powerbook and Dell laptop on the wireless lan, and a Windows 2000 box hard wired to the router.
The wireless router is upstairs, so the speed suffers in my downstairs office.
I've got an ethernet jack in the downstairs office that is run to the upstairs router. Could I put an AE base station on the ethernet port (behind my router) in the same workgroup/network.
Basically use it as an access point?
The reason I would want to get this rather than another access point is because of the built-in print server and the possibilty of it eventually replacing my Linksys router.
