Can someone explain how they got this QTVR?

Isnt this just a moment in time, and dont you require multiple shots to stitch this!?

Im out of touch with QTVR....anyone?

Isnt this just a moment in time, and dont you require multiple shots to stitch this!?With my setup it would actually be 8 moments in time. 6 around, 1 up and 1 down. Stitched with PTMac and QTVR created with Cubic Converter.

I think the OP's point is that this isn't a QTVR of a building or landscape where multiple shots are easy; this is one very quick moment where multiple shots would be near impossible. The only thing I can think is that the guy who made the QTVR maybe used burst mode and just kinda spun around? I have no idea though. The VR itself is fantastic.

Illusion my friends. What seems to be one moment in time is really, like Cooknn, said more like 8-12.

But in this case it is really well done.

Actually, not necessarily. I was speaking with a friend about it, and he showed me this link:

So, it may actually be one moment in time and maybe he just used a 360* lens or camera.

...this is one very quick moment where multiple shots would be near impossible.You can get around in a few seconds, and the only issues will be where the pieces overlap. Then you just blend (one out, or the other in) using layers in Photoshop. It can get difficult, but not impossible.

but what about the clear view of the ground and sky!?I used to use one of those. But as you noticed, with that optic you don't get the sky or the ground. Or the resolution for that matter. This photographer just moved real fast ;)

Actually, with a full frame camera an a 180º lens, you can do it in two or three shots...

with my D50 and 10.5 fisheye this would have taken 6 shots and an up and down like was said before... it just takes a lot of PP to clean the edges.

I dunno guys... it's a pretty high energy scene with a lot of fast movement. I don't know if there would have been time for 6 shots.

only fast movement in one or two shots, the rest, people are just standing there.
