i just bought one and i was surprised it was very short? how can i connect this to my external display when it is very short in length? is there anyway i can purchase like an extension or something? help me please im very new to this

You should be able to purchase a good length of VGA extender cable from any computer supply store.

i have this 327v olevia tv ->>http://www.olevia.com/products/features.aspx?pid=327v will it work? what kind of extension do i need to buy? appreciate it a lot!:)

That should work. You just have to ask for a VGA extension cable. They all should work. Note that VGA will not carry sound. Your TV should have a sound input associated with the VGA input. You will then have to plug a cable from your computers headphone jack to the TVs sound input.
