Hi, i really need help on this one.

Basically i have a Core Duo iMac 20" and i have just been given a Power Mac G4 running OS 9.2.2. Is it possible to use the iMac OSX CDs that came with my iMac to update the G4 from OS 9.2.2 to OSX?

If not, how do i go about doing this?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

No, you need to buy a retail version of OS X. For an older machine I'd recommend Panther, you can buy it cheap on ebay.

eek. i wouldn't get jaguar. panther sucked, at least for me and my G4. Tiger runs about the same speed as Jaguar when you have at least 256 MB of RAM and alot faster when you have >512MB
