I was Wondering if it did, because i ordered one, and then noticed i never saw anything in the specs about it having blue tooth built in.
i ask, because i was hoping to use the mac's Wireless Keyboard and Wireless Mouse with it.
can anyone confirm this?
and also, for tho's who use kingston Ram, What ram do you use? like DDR or something?

Wireless and bluetooth are extra on the Mac Pro. The standard machine does not have either.
I added 5 Gb of Crucial ram to my Mac pro ..... great job :) But make sure you order the correct type.

It can do but you need to select it when you configure your Mac Pro. It does not come by default.

oh okay, so then that means i can just go into the mac store, here in San Diego, and i can buy it?
would it be easy to install myself?
and is it expensive?

Over here in Ireland it must be fitted by Apple. You will need to check at your local Apple store.

If you didn't see the option for Bluetooth that means you probably missed the option for a Wireless Card as well. Hope you don't intend using wireless internet with this thing because you're going to need to get that fitted as well. ;)

According to the Apple Store BTO options...
Both can be added for $80 total
[also in San Diego ;) ]

Thanks, one last question.. its too early to call the apple store to confirm, and i'm working all day.
but can you guys tell me if i get the bluetooth from apple store in SD, would they also install it for free?
and, it just occurred to me, that blue tooth comes in USB form, i could just pick up one of these blue tooth USB dongles and use it on my mac pro right?

Almost certainly yes, I used a bluetooth dongle in my G5 .... no problems.
But what about the Airport card?

If your interested, I have a macpro bluetooth adaptor. Its the one that apple will install for you. I don't know if they will charge for installation, but if they do you can buy it here and save some money. Its a really easy install, just two screws.
25 shipped.

It is a small board added onto the logic board. So it is inside (if the option was added when he bought).

There are Wifi USB sticks as well. :DI can't think of another vendor besides MacWireless (http://macwireless.com/html/products/wireless_cards/USBs.php).
Maybe Sonnet Technologies?

Oh, and about installing the stuff...
If you take your 50lb computer into an Apple Store, they'll sell you the stuff (installation is included). You cannot legally obtain either the Airport card or the bluetooth card without being certified to install by Apple (trust me, you'd know if you were). That said, there are plenty of options to buy them out there.
In my experience, it was a pain to install the Airport card only because the wires wouldn't "click" into their places. If you're dextrous you won't have much of an issue.

Back in my PC days I used this Belkin (http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=179211) on my old Intel P4, though it doesn't point out Mac compatibility
Edit: A quick google reveals it is possible to download appropriate drivers for certain adapters.

A quick google reveals it is possible to download a driver.Everyone makes wireless stuff for Windows and packs their nice little driver CD.
It's not the same story in OS X. :(
