Yeah... when I listen to Upsy-Daisy, I'm really struck by how the singer can be so angry and yet also so tender. In Dear God, he somehow manages to be both at the same time. Nice song.

I was a DJ for a small college radio station in the 80s, when this song originally came out. Some bible-loonie complained and we had to stop playing it. I mean, what the heck was s/he doing listening to the station anyway? Some people need a life.

That said, great song!
