View Full Version : Macbook shutdown when closing lid

Question, this happened for the 2nd time I ignored it the 1st time, went to close c2d macbook and I heard the mac start up sound and the notebook shut off. I press the power button and it turned back on? anyone know whats up?

Try repairing permissions
restarting?
install any haxies lately?

Try resetting the System Management Controller (SMC):

1. If the computer is on, turn it off.
2. Disconnect the AC Adapter and remove the computer's battery.
3. Press and hold down the power button for 5 seconds and then release the button.
4. Reconnect the battery and AC Adapter.
5. Press the Power button to restart the computer.
