I Got My New Mac Pro on Friday (2.66Gz, 8gb Ram, X1900XT), with all apple factory Parts. Ever hour or 2 the side case seems to come loose and starts vibrating loudly. sometimes if i just hit it (In a loving kind of way) it locks back on properly, other times i have to take the panel off and then return it to its place. Always it Keeps coming off  . The IT guys at work can't work it out either...
Any ideas on how to fix this?

The lock at the back of the computer is down, right?

Yes. The first thing i checked. Actually, when I released it the panel stopped vibrating.

Check that the top locking mechanism is securing the panel in place.

From what i can tell it is sitting in its slot properly. the top an bottom are lined up the the body of the case.
It is also sitting properly relative to the front/back of the case.

When you click the side on and lock it, can you pull it off?

No. It flexes a little bit, but it feels like it is secure. i would have to break it to remove it without unlocking it first

Are we talking about a loose lid or a resonating lid?
My lid resonated making a molest buzzz but I got rid of that sound by adjusting the screws of the HDDs (4 of them) very tight. Those screws have a very shallow groove and are difficult to properly adjust with any size of phillips screwdriver.
i hope it's that -- easy fix.

perhaps some slim rubber feet strategically placed on the door will stop the vibration..
i picked up some really thin rubber feet from walmart the other day
