MacBook CD Won't Go to Sleep :(

When I close the cover. I can manually put it to sleep, but no dice when shutting the lid. I have already tried an archive/install and erase and install, as well as zapping the pram and pmu.

Any other ideas?

Okay mate. Sorry if I was sounding anally retentive, but just thought I'd check to see you'd tried the right procedure. Anyway, what apps do you have running when you close the lid? 🙂

No worries! Thanks for your help.

Finder is the only application i have running when i close the lid.
