What type of fonts do Apple use for marketing?

Hi all, I'm just goofing around with some things and I wanted to know what font names Apple use in their marketing etc so I can download them and do some stuff. I'm googling but it's coming up with Mac fonts, not the actual names of Apple Inc's fonts.

Any help would be appreciated!

Myriad Set is their official corporate font.

Myriad Pro Semibold is pretty close.

I used to have a font similar to the Apple corporate font. Unfortunatly I lost it after I neglected to back up my fonts before installing a new hard drive. If I ever get a way to access my old hard drive, I'll let you know.

If you have any of the Adobe apps, you probably have some variant of Myriad or another around. Try Spotlight. Also, if you have Lightroom or something like that, poke around inside the app bundle, there's yet another variant called Myriad Web you could use.

If you happen to have any Frutiger, that would pass to a casual observer. Myriad is largely a rip of it.

That's what they use for the OS X interface, it's not really for their ads per se.

The Lucida family was designed for low resolution applications (fax, on screen, old desktop printers). It can look a little awkward in high res because that makes some of the exaggerated forms stand out. It's pretty much the Verdana problem, only not as severe.
