The youth wing of the Liberal Party of Canada did some parody ads to Apple's I'm a Mac.
"Hi I'm a Liberal, and I'm a PC" (meaning Progressive Conservative)
The ads are no where as good as the Apple ones, of course, but what do you think of them?

I think they are pretty lame and as much as they mock the PC's, they don't do anything to improve the Liberal's stance at all though. Politically, the liberals made an absolute mess of Canada and the PC's are left with clean up. Don't get me started....

Well, I definitely thought they were lame, but amusing for what they were. I find it hilarious when libs try to dress up and pretend to be conservatives. Colbert is the only one that pulls it off. This guy here could at least get a haircut and learn to tie a tie.

OK, so maybe they didn't "screw the country up", but their scandals & behaviour have been worse than the PC's. Neither party is really qualified to run the country, but then those who are qualified work in the private sector.
I refer to Adscam, Kyoto Accords, Shewinigate (sp?) and National Energy Program. Let's not forget the GST either.

Hmm, you list Kyoto like it's a bad thing. bizzare:confused:
GST was brought in by the PCs, lowered by the current government in a thinly veiled attempt to trick the population into think they were lowering taxes when instead they raised them.
Shawinigate was a joke blown out of preportion by a desparate opposition.
What the hell is wrong with "National Energy Program" seemed like a great idea to me.
I'll give you the sponsorship scandal, that was filthy but for every liberal scandal I can give you a conservative one, maybe two. Most of them under Brian Mulroney.
I'm sorry but for me, the fact that Canada is currently helmed by the conservatives is a scandal in of itself. Dark times for sure.

There's quite a few "I'm a Democrat, and I'm a Republican" ads on the net. Most of them are mildly amusing, but that's all. Seeing them, I have to admit I've been tempted with "I can do better than that" thoughts. :D

Yeah, he's definitely just a nerdy Liberal, I go to school with lots of Conservative supporters, they always have "nicely" trimmed hair, and always wear a non-wrinkled suit with a tie on properly.. etc etc etc
Air Farce did Lib vs PC for quite a while now, "better" than the Lib Party ones too:

These were done a lot better. It would be interesting to see the same sort of thing done from the other perspective.
