If I remember correctly, those are default system desktops for OS 8 or 9. There was a thing called "themes" ( I think) where you could choose the system color scheme. Purple Macs were shipped defaulted with the grape theme, blue with the blue theme etc.

I think he probably took it, and is just trying to make us all want it by saying we can't have it.

Really all he's doing is making us think he's selfish, or at least me anyways. It's really not even a very good picture if you ask me. I'm no photographer or anything, but I wouldn't want that as my wallpaper.

I know everyone will hate my environment, but it suits me. I work from home (print production) and usually have all my personal stuff and all my work stuff (note the VPN's connected as I do this) running at the same time.

Two screens (24" Dell on the left, MBP on the right), all done up in Somatic with Shapeshifter and CandyBar and god knows what else. It makes me happy.

The little blue dude in the lower-left corner of the right-hand monitor is Focus (http://eerko.nl/software/), an app I absolutely love.
