Hi guys,

I need your advice on these:

1. I need a font that has a cool, handwritten, brushed looking capital "A." Any suggestions are much appreciated.

2. I'm having a website redone, by a friend who is very familiar with Joomla! There are TONS of Joomla templates out there, and I was wondering if any of you knew of one that looked similar to this site: www.austinstone.org. I love how clean it is, and the simple, easy navigation.

Thanks in advance!

Jason

Hello,
I don't know how "cool" you will think it is, but when you mentioned "handwritten" and "brushed" the first font that came to mind was "Reporter #2." You can have a look right here and see if it's close to what you have in mind: http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/adobe/reporter/

Any other suggestions?

I don't know about a particular one, after all tastes do vary, but you can check out http://www.urbanfonts.com as they have tons of free typefaces, sorted by category. I've used quite a few of these and rarely have issues with them. For something cool, this is where I'd start.

And, since I can't resist, Reporter is a pretty cool typeface, but it looks dated to me, kind of like what you'd see in a window sign from the 50s, IMO. :D
