A quick forum search didn't turn anything up, so here is the 750GX from IBM. Sampling now, shipping in December... so quite possible that new iBooks are around the end of the year, to early next year. Last update was April 22nd (https://www.macrumors.com/pages/2003/04/20030422103438.shtml)
It has the exact same pinout, voltages as the current IBM G3 750FX, so it might be in the upgrade market sooner?
Speeds up to 1.1Ghz
1MB L2 Cache
Bus speed up to 200Mhz
51.9mm^2 die size
< 8.0 W @ 1 GHz, 1.45 V
