Description:: Want to download that streaming video? For free? RealPlayer 11 will allow you to do so. The article doesn't indicate if this only works with Real media or not but my guess is it won't be enough to entice people to use this increasingly irrelevant media player.

For a decade streaming media players like RealPlayer have allowed you to save streaming videos -- as long as you knew which file(s) to look for in their temp directory.
