why doesn't the & hearts ; code work?

hey. kind of a trivial question but after a year of having my macbook pro it's starting to bother me. why doesn't that little heart come up on firefox when people enter the & hearts ; code? is there any way to get support that will make it show?

It's a bug that affects Firefox for Mac, if I remember correctly. Do a search on bugzilla.

awesome. i found it. i had to change my japanese fonts..i don't really get that whole thing but i don't read japanese so it should be okay i think. thanks very much
