half life 2 back screen

Anyone know why I am getting a black screen in half life 2 after the intro loads? I can still move the cursor and the buttons make a sound when I hover over it, it is just that I can't see anything it is all black. I am on a macbook using bootcamp to do this.

Intel GMA 945 is not supported by Half-Life2.
You can play it by setting lower dxlevels but performance is really not good.
