I'm thinking about replacing my iMac and Powerbook with one computer, so I'd like to know what sort of money I could get for them.

The iMac is a 17" 2GHz Core 2 Duo, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD.

The Powerbook is a 12" 1GHz G4, 512MB RAM, 40GB HDD, Airport Extreme installed. Possibly the greatest laptop ever made, many will agree.

It'd be great to know how much I could get for these two.

If you're interested, let me know how much you'd be willing to spend and I'll consider. I'm afraid if I can't find people to buy both, then neither will be sold.

I'd offer €400 / £270 for the powerbook. :)

Is that all I should be expecting? Maybe I should add that the PB still has its original box and the adaptors that came with it, though the power adaptor has a taped end and non-standard wall cable.

Actually looking over ebay - my offer was kinda low (more the price of a similar specced iBook). So tbh I'd say you'd probably be able to get around £350/400

Just out of my budget, I just want a dirt cheap mac to serve as a wireless access point at the moment.

Best of luck with the sale, the 12" was always a favourite of mine :D

Is it the £799 iMac on the Apple site? That works out at £688 with the education discount off, so your price would have to be £550 or thereabouts for me to be interested.

How much warranty is left?

Yes it's the £799 iMac. Warranty until mid-September. I'm just about to get a new Mighty Mouse under warranty to replace one with a dead ball.
