So, once my current 12" PB G4 sells (which it looks like it will in the next day or two), I'm going to immediatly pick up a new MacBook, which comes with the 199 iPod credit.
Now, I've had a bunch of iPods over the years and just never use them to their full extent. Therefore, I'm going to put up the idea of selling the 199 credit. How this offer works is whoever gives me the best offer can tell me what iPod they'll like. Then, when I buy my MacBook, I'll buy that iPod as well. Then, once you pay me for the credit + anything over the 199 in the price of the iPod, I'll ship it to you. I won't open it or anything, it'll go straight in the mail.
Here's an example of how I see this working:
You offer $175 for the credit and want the 30GB iPod ($249 on the apple.com edu store, which I'm still technically a college student for 3 more months, so I can use).
You would then pay me 175 + (249 - 199) = $225 for a brand new 30GB iPod. This is a $25, or 10% savings on a brand new, never opened, iPod.
Thanks,
Ben
