Best camera under a grand?

Yeah yeah I'm a cheap bastard but I just want to know if anyone has any suggestions for a good camcorder under 1,000 dollars. I did see the GL2 under a grand on this site called bestpricedcameras.com (how original) but it looked a little shady to me. 3CCD's is a must which is why I have the extremely small PV-GS120 by Panasonic.

i feel like im a pusher since i have made three comments about it already on here today but check out the canon hv20. its about a grand on amazon.

If you want the "best" 3ccd camera for under 1K, look for a used Panasonic DVX100. But it would be hard to find even a used one for that.

The Canon HV20 can make a good image ... but it's a CMOS camera - not CCD.
