View Full Version : InDesign print output colour inconsistent with Photoshop

I'm running CS2 and have just had the whole system calibrated by a specialist company who have produced profiles for the scanner, monitor and printer.

The colour consistency throughout the process is now really good, but only from within Photoshop. If I output work from InDesign, using the same colour settings as PS, I get a very slight blue\green bias in my prints.

I've spoken to the company that did the calibrations but they haven't been able to help with the InDesign problem - their suggestion was to output a PDF from InDesign and then print this from Photoshop. Interestingly, when I did this the print output displayed the same blue/green cast as when I printed directly from InDesign, suggesting that InDesign is applying some sort of color correction of it's own.

I have my colour management synchronised from within Bridge, but InDesign does not seem to offer the complete set of colour controls as PS does - notably the Rendering Intent (which in PS is set to 'Relative Colorimetric) and Black Point Compenstation settings are missing from the print output window.

I should stress that the difference is very slight, but frustrating nonetheless. I can't find anything on the net, nor in Adobe's documentation - does anyone here have any ideas?
