I never use this thing because I've got a TV hooked into directtv sitting next to my computer now.
$115 takes it. Has original box (I think theres a rip in it though), all CD's, etc. Dongle is in great shape and has extender. Works perfectly.
PayPal only please. Will only ship to verified members/confirmed addresses.

can i split the cable that goes to my cable modem to hook up to the eye tv or does it have to come directly from the cable box? I just am not quite sure how it works. my computer is across the room from my cable box but my modem is right next to it. can you watch on the tv and record something else at the same time?

Honestly, I'm not quite sure. As far as I know, it should work. I don't see why a splitter would negatively affect it (infact, I use a splitter on my cable modems and they both work fine with Comcast).
Sorry I can't give a definitive answer but I'll leave you with "I'm pretty sure"

Yes. You can split the coax tv cable line. This thing also picks up HD over-the-air broadcasts, you should be aware. So just an antenna in the window near a major city will get HD tv channels.
