New Macbook Pro looking for a stand / cooling

I just purcahsed a 2.2 8600mGT 128mb 120gb 2gb ram and im looking to do a bit of gaming, i already have boot camp and will be playing WoW in windows as well as Counter Strike Source and some BF 2142...

im looking for a stand, and im not **** if I really have means to buy a keyboard to use...

anyways here are the 2 i am looking at:

should I get an elevator?

or a notebook cooler that uses fans?

keep in mind that i mostly wont be gaming for over 4-5 hours at one time.. but who knows.. i want to be careful and make a good decision..

keep in mind i have the apple care protection plan.. i dont know if that will really help.. but i plan on gaming quite a bit.

but do I even need one?

I use the iCurve (predecessor to the elevator I think) and it works great for my 1.67 PB. The notebook cooler will make some noise and looks like it will use up a USB port, not to mention the extra power drain.

I like the elevator too because you can slide a full sized keyboard under it and it makes the screen height like an iMac.

explain power drain? and im not worried about the usb slot..

also which will be cooler? and how big of a difference between the 2?

+ if I am gaming for long periods of time.. 7-10 hours..

power drain . . . I'm assuming that the fans run on electricity :D

then again if your internal fans turn on, that will also use power. I know, compared to the power the CPU uses during gaming, the wattage will be almost negligable.

Don't know which will run cooler. My fans hardly ever turn on with my iCurve, then again I'm not an extended gamer.

You can run WoW on the OS X, which is good if you wanted to pop into the game real quick. As for the fans, I have read on the smcFanControl that you can have the fans running at full RPMs when you restart from Mac side to the Windows side. It would be noisy, but it would definitely make your laptop run a lot cooler. Plus its a free solution.

thanks, so if i dont plan on doing a significant ammount of gaming I dont really need a stand?

will it release cooling a lot?

cause im thinking of closing it and setting it behind my 20" mac screen.. and i wouldnt game like that.. but would I need to fix it for heat issues?
