The SuperDrive in my out-of-warranty Mini has finally stopped burning disks. :-(

I did a quick search of the forums trying to find the brand/model number(s) of possible replacements - to no avail.

Is there a list of drives that will work? I'm running 10.4.9.

Thanks in advance

That is one made by Pioneer that works on the Mini.

You can find it on Newegg.

This is what happens when you buy a computer that does not use standard sized components.

You mean like standard 2.5 inch SATA hard disks, and standard slim/laptop size optical drives, and standard SO-DIMM ddr memory?

You have to understand, iWoot really hates the Mini. REALLY hates it. I think one bit him once. They oughta have partial banning to keep certain people out of certain forums.

Seems like a lot of wasted cycles thinking about a model of computer you generally dont care for, and then spouting those opinions in forums that people generally like said computer.

BTW- the Pioneer K06 works great in the mini.
