ichat log feature?

does ichat have a log feature....similar to adiums. if so where can you find it.

if not, does anyone else think it should have this feature?

yes, it does. In the Messages section of your ichat preferences, turn on automatically save chat transcripts. It will save them into a folder called iChats in the documents folder in your home directory.
