I need help with my avatar

I have just reached 500 posts.:)

But for some reason my avatar won't show up. Only a question mark.
It is 73 x 73, and of 4KB size. JPEG format, and also tried GIF format.

Any ideas of what I might be doing wrong? Or does the avatar must be a proved by a mod first?

I believe the site's servers are on some special preservation mode to prepare for WWDC later. It might be a day or two before it's back to normal again as avatars are not usually prioritized. (this is assuming everything is ok with the file itself, which it sounds like it's fine) Check back a bit later (perhaps as late as tomorrow) maybe?
