I have a MacBook Core Duo 2.0 with 2 GB of RAM, 60 GB HD, SuperDrive, and AppleCare coverage through May 24th, 2009. I would describe the condition as just below "like-new."
What is a reasonable amount of money that I should be able to get for this machine on eBay or Craigslist? I'm having a hard time getting an idea of MacBook resale values and wonder if anyone else has sold one recently (or bought a used one).
Thanks.

If these are used Macbooks, they should go for AROUND these prices at MAXIMUM.
C2D 2.16Ghz, 1Gb RAM, 160Gb HD, Superdrive Blackbook = 1350
C2D 2.16, 1Gb, 120, Superdrive Whitebook= 1150
C2D 2.0, 1Gb, 80Gb, Combodrive Whitebook = 1000
C2D 2.0, 1Gb, 120Gb, Superdrive Blackbook = 1050
C2D 2.0, 1Gb, 80GB, Superdrive Whitebook = 950
C2D 1.83, 512MB, 60Gb, Combo Whitebook = 850
CD 2.0, 512MB, 80Gb Superdrive Blackbook = 850
CD 2.0, 512, 60GB, Superdrive Whitebook = 800
CD 1.83, 512, 60Gb, Combodrive Whitebook = 750
RAM Prices for DDR2 667 aren't that expensive nowadays and 3rd party like Buffalo can be picked up for $30 shipped if you look around the web. You can get a 1000 for the Macbook on Ebay if you get lucky. Some people tend to look at the item only and not find out if its a C2D CPU or a CD. Same situation on Craigslist. On MR or any other Mac Forums, you can expect to sell any of the Macbooks above for $50 or $100 less. The more accessories provide with the Macbook, the better of a chance you can get full resale value.
Expect to get 825 shipped for your macbook here though.

I sold the aforementioned MacBook on eBay yesterday for $1250. It appears that the resale value of these machines is higher than either of us believed.

eBay is the way to sell, if you can stand the scammers. Well done!
