Greetings,
So I'm trying to get a gauge of how ET should run on on a Macbook as it's not doing very well on mine. I have the white, 1.83ghz with 2 gig of ram and I'm using the universal 2.60d from id. The problem is the game jerks when the server is under heavy load so while the game is playable, if I'm getting shot at the game grinds to a crawl and I'm a sitting duck. I've turned off just about every graphics option which helps but still no joy. Is this everybody's experience?
In the meantime I bought a copy of WC3 which plays wonderfully, as does ioquake3. ET is just not playing along.
