Free Applications for MBP?

I am new to the macworld and was wondering if anyone can suggest a fun, free thing to put on my MBP? I already heard of openoffice and neooffice but is there anything else that might be fun to have?
 
Also try a google search, I'm sure there's a ton of 'best free software' lists out there.

The websites above are incredibly useful resources, but less so if you're not sure what you're looking for.
