er isn't the top homeland security dude Tom Ridge or whatever that guy's name was?
anyway, the person's appearance has nothing to do with their knowledge.

i didn't make any reference to his intelligence...smart people can look funny; bill gates for example


tom ridge is the director and more of a liazon to the president and other organization than the actual day to day functions of homeland security

for the thread title, "a top" may have been a better choice than "top," which kind of implies "the top," which is clearly not the case.
