geforce 4 ti in g5?

will this work?

i haven't been reading all the thread's thorougly lately, but i had seen mention of some specs on the agp slot that might exclude all but the current and future offered graphics cards (ie, the ones currently offered in the g5 itself)... i have a geforce 4 ti and was planning to get the low end card with the g5, and swap in my card....

on the same note, is the 9800 going to be better than the ti? i had basically heard that nvidia's cards were stronger in 3d software (my focus) and ati's were better with games.....

any thoughts would be great. thanks

for the time being, i'd still like if anyone else has any idea about this, or if anyone could say which is better? i guess the 9800 is too new to really have many reviews or card vs card comparisons yet..
