In the process of updating my iTunes to the latest version (7.2) i remember checking some sort of box which i think related to "upgrading" some of my previously purchased songs for free. Now when I sync my iPod, 29 songs are "not copied as they cannot be played on this iPod," and do not appear on the iPod.

I have run the main software updater as well as checking that my iPod software is up-to-date on the iPod Summary tab in iTunes but the problem persists every time I sync. What should i try next?
