Its know that im gonna start learning After Effects. Can it work with Flash and Director? What type of files does it exports?

After Effets can output qt, mpg, and most all standard formats. You can also export as a swf file, the swf file can be then imported to Flash or director. So yes, it works well with Director and Flash.

aslong as its compiled in apples new xcode it will take advantage of the 64bit CPUs
