Quick/Easy Way To Burn .AVI to DVDs?

The question is simply the thread title. I'm looking for an effective and simple way to burn .avi files to DVD so they can be played in a standard DVD player. Is there some free software that can accomplish this? A walk-through would be fantastic! Thanks!

And although not free (but certainly affordable at $23.32), VisualHub is a cool tool to have in your arsenal. I love the programmers sense of humor, which often shows up in the way he's worded some of the dialog boxes. 🙂

Erm.... iDVD?

Works for me, codecs permitting.

Is your problem that iDVD takes a long time? I expect most programs of this sort will not be quick
