how do I tell which mbp lcd maker?

Hi all,

I am interested in trying some of the color profiles in these forums, but can't find if I have the samsung or the LG. system profiler doesnt say or have a reference number that matches those in these forums.

what am I missing?

Open System Preferences -> Displays, select the Color tab, choose the "Color LCD" profile, click the Open Profile button, scroll to the bottom of the list and choose the item with the description "Apple display make and model information." The model number will tell you which display you have. 9C67 is for the LG panel. 9C68 is for Samsung.

That sounds like a brand new revision. Could you double check plz.

Just googled. Apparently 9C69 is just the high-res 17" screen I have. Nothing new.:p
