uploading from ipod to laptop

I want to be able to organize music and recharge from my laptop without stuff getting deleted. To accomplish this I have to do that. I know it's possible.

It's not going on someone else computer, just my laptop.

By the way, I'm with my laptop in England and my iMac and CDs are in Canada. That and I forgot the adapter. If I don't do this I'll be left with nothing.

I'm not quite sure what you're wanting to do mate. We can get the music from your iPod onto the laptop, but we'll need to know it's operating system.

Also, what do you mean, you "forgot the adaptor"? If you don't have an iPod cable that goes from the dock connector to the USB or Firewire port on the notebook (or an iPod, such as the 1st gen Shuffle, that doesn't need one), and you can't borrow the appropriate one from someone, there's nothing we can do for you, still.
