Thanks to Parallels and Bootcamp now you can get a virus on your mac. What is the best antivirus software out there? i dont mind paying for it. Norton is terrible now, Macafee is not much better and i have not tried anything else. Any recommendations?

I'll be the first to say: Mac OS X does not get viruses. But as for your Windows partition I just say erase it :P

The Mac virus scanners scan for Windows viruses that do not effect OSX, incase you want to send files to an unprotected PC.
For Windows I recommend AVG Free and Ad-aware (free)...

Just get Avast or AVG for the PC side and use Firefox or Safari as your Windows browser. The OSX side don't need nothin'.:p

As a possible downside to gaining market share, the Mac may start to attract more attention from the virus-writers:
2.16.2006 News
Mac OS X Virus Alert - Sophos Anti Virus has found the first 'real virus' for Mac OS X known as OSX/Leap-A or OSX/Oompa-A. The OSX/Leap worm or trojan is spread via instant messenger forwarding itself as a file named 'latestpics.tgz'. When launched the worm attempts to spread via iChat sending itself to the users buddy list. The application will also try to infect the recently used applications.
