D40x and Lightroom

I downloaded the trial of Lightroom just to give it a whirl and see what it was like. However, whenever I try to import my D40x RAW files Lightroom tells me they're unsupported. Adobe's CameraRAW has been updated to work with the D40x, as has OSX itself with the 10.4.10 update... what's the problem here?

I haven't had any problems using RAW from my D50 in lightroom - have you installed the Nikon Raw plugin? If not - then put that in the Adobe plugin directory - I had to do that with photoshop CS2 as it didn't recognise the file format.
