Is there any way to enable tap-clicking (tapping the trackpad instead of hitting the button) in XP? I'm running Boot Camp 1.3.

Try Control Panel -> Mouse (or -> Printers & Other -> Mouse) and then go to the "Touch" tab.

I thought the Boot Camp drivers didn't support this yet?

Dear Guys,
I had the same problem today 26.06.2007. Subject: Toshiba Tecra A8. Problem: after installing a Logitek optical mouse&keyboard the mouse TAP-CLICKING was gone. Nothing I tried worked. Until I realised it may have something to do with Synaptics drivers. So I went to http://www.synaptics.com/support/index.cfm and downloaded the drivers for the touchpad. (it also works for ALPS touchpads). After the drivers were installed a new tab appeared in Control Panel->Mouse-> ... The new tab si named DEVICE SETTINGS. After enabling everything there the TAP-CLICKING effect came into its own. It's really that simple. :D
Hope this works for you too.
Bye!
