View Full Version : questionable 4gb ram important!

Hi. I was just wondering if the following RAM is suitable enough for the current MacBook Pros out right now. Specifically the 2.2 GHZ 160 GB HDD. My biggest concern is how cheap this 4 GB RAM is compared to Apples $700ish upgrade. So, I'm not sure if this is just cheap RAM which will not work well with the Macbook Pro. Please let me know with your advice, etc. Thankyou!! Below is the link, just in case. :)

That's the correct memory for that machine. OWC only sell memory that's guaranteed to work with your Mac.

I saw on another thread that Fry's is selling compatible 2GB sticks for $65 each.
