Temp files

I've just noticed (after saving a print preview) that these pdfs are saved in a folder. Will these be deleted by themselves? or will I have to delete them manually? Also are there any other temp files that need to be deleted manually that are created by the system?

OSX is constantly writing temp files and logs, but they have limits. When some reach a certain number they are written over. Some are erased after a time period. Some are erased at shutdown.

Generally the system does it's own housekeeping.
