Use an iPhone with a Family Plan?

I am currently on a family plan and I pay 9.99 a month plus 5 dollars for 200 texts. Will I be able to buy an iPhone and use my plan with it? I am out of contract if that helps.

I'm pretty sure this has been discussed before, but yes. A family plan line exists on its own with its own contract, so as far as I can tell there would be no reason for a family plan line to not be able to use an iPhone.

We have family plan too. When I talked with them last week, I assumed she had my plan info in front of her, when she told me I just needed to commit for another two years. I don't think it matters exactly what plan, it most likely works like any phone upgrade - you just sign up again.
