I've got a fully functioning OEM brand (aka, no name brand) firewire HD enclosure that I'd like to trade for a USB 2.0 HD enclosure. I want to use the USB airport sharing on my Airport Extreme but need a USB HD enclosure first (too bad my firewire one won't work :( ).
Thanks,
Ben

I have a 3.5 usb enclosure. I would be willing to pay shipping from my end if you would pay from your end.

uicandrew,
Sorry for not adding this, I have a 3.5 IDE and I'm looking to trade for a 3.5 IDE. I guess you could down convert mine to a 2.5, but I don't have anything fancy :-p.

so what's the queue look like for trades. becasue after some recent install fiascos i need a firewire enclosure bc you cannot boot a volume off of a usb enclosure in osx.
so i guess if #1 and #2 drop out, i'm game on a trade.

If everything falls through, I have a 3.5 enclosure with a fan (off brand I'm sure). Its usb2.0 and takes IDE. Looks brand new. I'd be willing to trade because my computer has firewire.

Oh, take a look at this.
Free after rebate and it fits everything you need:

Plus shipping ands thats "if" you get your rebate. Not to crap on that but it's just one of those been there done that deals:eek:
Its a shame you're ignorant. Shipping is free and paying $15 isn't so bad, but paying $0 is great if you do get the rebate.

This item qualifies for free shipping on orders $19.99 and above. Our instant price $15.00
Such harshness because it's only free shipping over $19.99? Ouch :(

Hey saabmp3,
if you haven't got one yet, I have a Beyond Micro USB 2.0 enclosure and am willing to trade for the FW enclosure.

The list price is $29.99, ergo it qualifies. Just because you want his enclosure, don't try to kill a deal for him.
