Okay, this may be a stupid question but I figure it's one worth asking. I've also heard carriers refer to this feature as "Sprint to Sprint" or "Verizon to Verizon" but the whole "Mobile to Mobile" thing throws me off. Is it only free to call/receive calls from people on the AT&T wireless network, or is it free to call/receive calls from ANYONE on ANY wireless network (sprint, verizon, nextel, etc.)?

I checked into it and it seems it is similar to Verizon's "IN" network. AT&T to AT&T only.

It's only between people within the AT&T network for free, and it doesn't count towards your minutes. Think about it: if they let you do "Mobile-to-Mobile" within any network possible, there wouldn't be a need for minutes whatsoever and it would render them useless. ;)
