Ok,
The BBC has announced the iPlayer (the beta has been going for a while to approved users).

How ironic that they've decided to call it the iPlayer!

Later this year, the service will also be available via links from YouTube and could also appear on other websites such as MSN, Bebo, and Facebook.
Hopefully, that means that it'll actually *be* on YouTube, and that in turn means H.264, and that in turn means that you will not have to rely on any "iPlayers." :)
