Wiretap pro and Skype

Hi,

I've been using Wiretap Pro to record phone conversations for podcasts. The other day I upgraded to the latest version of Skype and now I have a strange problem.

Even though the conversation sounds fine when I'm having it, there's a strange delay when you play back the recording.

For example, I hear my interviewee finish his answer and begin to ask him a new question but on the recording I talk over the last part of his answer.

I am recording via an external mic through a small mixing desk, however, I found problems if I try use the mixing desk to hear what's going on so I use the mic through the desk as input but listen back by plugging headphones directly into the Mac.

It's only happened since I upgraded Skype.

Any suggestions? Also, is it possible for me to reinstall the older version of Skype?
