Just picked up a N router.
I am not noticing any speed difference at all.
Did some tests between the Old G router and the new N router and the numbers are the same http://reviews.cnet.com/7004-7254_7-0.html
Should I return the unit?
It is a D-link 625
Thanks

Do you have a computer that uses the n standard? If so, is it activated, as you have to pay $1.99 on a new macbook or macbook pro...

Yep, I have a MPB
I live in Canada so it is already enabled. Only have to pay if you live in the US

lol.
your internet connection is probably nowhere near even the max of a 802.11g, let alone 802.11n.
I'm guessing your broadband is probably around 5 megabit (this is probably average). Well, G wireless can go up to 54 megabit with regular throughput being around 20 megabit or so. N can go up to 300 megabit.
So connecting to the internet, it won't matter what type of router you have. The only place that N is going to make a difference right now is for lan transfer.

It has nothing to do with Canada/US, it has to do with when you bought it. I'm in Canada and had to install the update when I bought the Airport Extreme to get N.
