i was wondering if anyone has taken apart an imac and made it into another computer. like put it into a desktop...we have an imac the the monitor went out on and was thinking of a way to save it. the vga out works fine. if any one has any expirence and could give some advice that would be great. i have a few pc cases and an old 7200 case that could be converted. (pictures would be great) thanks.

Upgrade the firmware, the display may work again.

ok but i want to put a new monitor on it any how. what is the best way to keep the power supply and mobo but remove the monitor?
